Central European University’s Executive MBA is a mid-career management program for professionals with at least eight years of experience, including three years of leadership experience, who want to transform their professional future by moving from operational and functional expertise to positions of strategic leadership.
A tailor-made program for working managers, it allows our participants to earn a US-EU accredited MBA degree in just 9 convenient residencies, lasting four to nine days each and scheduled over 25 months to minimize disruption to your work and life. Six of the modules take place in CEU’s new Vienna campus and three in Budapest.
CEU’s Executive MBA is the EMBA for the Open World – the program explicitly tackles competitive challenges and paradoxes of today’s post-industrial economy. We have designed a bespoke curriculum that combines high-level strategic, decision-making and leadership training with interactive case-based instruction in finance, data analytics, economics, marketing, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The CEU Executive MBA educates our participants in cutting-edge managerial techniques and trends, while immersing them in intensive learning and personal development.
Our Executive MBA fellows have an opportunity to exchange ideas with an unparalleled faculty comprised of some of the most accomplished management scholars in Europe. CEU Executive MBA instructors represent 20 nationalities and graduated from the world’s top universities, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT and Insead. They combine their academic achievements with deep experience working with companies and organizations throughout the world.
Joining the CEU Executive MBA also means becoming a member of the tight-knit community of more than 16,500 alumni professionals active in 136 countries. Our alumni are leaders in business, politics, civil society, academia and culture.
Our commitment to lifelong learning, to innovative ideas and to challenging hierarchies and “conventional wisdoms” links people who share not only a degree, but also values and experiences.
The program allows participants to combine the network and energy of Vienna during our spring, fall, and winter modules with the relaxed affordability of Budapest during the summer. In both places, Executive MBAs experience state-of-the-art facilities, which are just the backdrop to what is really important. Our unique campuses are defined by the principle of the Open Society and provide a meeting space for a vibrant community of graduate students from nearly 120 countries.
Finally, our tuition of 25,000 euro for our US-accredited program represents one of the best price-to-value ratios in Europe.
We also offer a variety of need- and merit-based scholarships for applicants with diverse backgrounds and exceptional leadership potential. Our beneficial arrangements with Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa Group and accommodation partners in Vienna and Budapest further facilitate program participation, especially in terms of the opportunity cost of your time.
