Central Asia: Fellowship for a Female Manager or Entrepreneur with High Potential
CEU Executive MBA Fellowship for a Female Manager or Entrepreneur from Central Asia
In December 2019, CEU Executive MBA Program established a highly competitive, merit-based Fellowship for a Female Manager or Entrepreneur with High Potential from Central Asia.
In the 21st Century, it is likely that Central Asia will be the hub through which China's Belt and Road Initiative rests. As the future of Central Asia's economy looks brighter, economic empowerment for women plays a crucial role in economic and societal development. Greater inclusion of women in senior leadership positions and/or founding and leading entrepreneurial firms leads to a more inclusive and diverse management cadre at the commanding heights of the economy. Female inclusion also creates positive role models for future generations of girls and young women.
The winner of the Fellowship will receive up to 90 percent reduction of the full CEU Executive MBA tuition of EUR 25.000. The fellowship will be awarded to a female manager or entrepreneur in Central Asia who has a proven track record of increasing the visibility for and success of women in business and entrepreneurship.
Applicant should have at least 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of documented leadership/managerial experience, an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification, and who apply for the May 2021 intake of the CEU Executive MBA program via the regular application form.
"The Central Asian business world can only benefit from having more women in leadership. Our fellowship will open the door to capable and talented women business leaders,"
points out Prof. Yusaf Akbar, Faculty Co-Director of CEU Executive MBA.
Applications will be reviewed and considered on a rolling basis. The Selection Committee reserves the right to choose awardees before the application deadline of March 21, 2021.
