UltraBalaton, one of the longest and most popular ultra and relay running races in Hungary, was held on May 6-7. The course started and finished at Balatonfured, entirely circling the lake. Runners passed through the picturesque hills of the lake’s north shore and spectacular beaches in the south. Our relay team completed the 211 km course in 19 hours and 7 minutes.

The relay team runners included Ramzi Chariag, Imola Csoka, Balazs Kertesz, Balazs Krusper, Henrika Langen, and faculty members Timea L. Molnar, Miklos Koren, Laszlo Matyas and Robert Lieli.

For those who could not attend and for those who enjoyed it so much that want to watch it again! The good news is that the ‘Stata vs R vs Python’ debate’s recording is available on CEU’s YouTube channel:

Watch it, share it and celebrate the winner! Don’t forget the suggestion of the debaters they all agreed on: ‘Choose one of the programming languages and be really good at it! Learn additional ones later!’
