Anass joined CEU Business School in 2015 and graduated in 2016 with an MBA with concentrations in Marketing and Sustainability in Business. He then embarked on a Ph.D. in Business Administration and conducted his research entitled "Modeling Trust in Consumer-to-Consumer Sharing Platforms" under the supervision of Professor Yusaf H. Akbar. In his research, Anass examines the motives of participation in understudied consumer-to-consumer sharing platforms (C2CSP) and the importance of trust in shaping sharing economy consumption. Furthermore, his research investigates the differences between various types and dimensions of trust and their effects on ridesharing usage from both supply and demand perspectives. Anass' work has been presented at the International Society for Professional Innovation Management's conference (ISPIM) in Valencia, Spain (Nov-Dec. 2021).

Anass is a passionate marketing professional with a solid career both in the private sector, as a marketing director for a digital marketing agency for 5+ years, and in the public sector, as a marketing and promotion manager for the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in Morocco for 9+ years. He is also an Agronomy Engineer (MSc.) with a strong background in the food industry and quality assurance. His current research interests lie in the intersection of the Platform Economy, Digital & Social Media Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and Digital Social Innovation.
