Peter Hangartner Fellowship Recipient 2017

The Department congratulates Zsigmond Pálvölgyi for receiving the Peter Hangartner Fellowship prize in 2017. The Fellowship is awarded annually to an outstanding second-year student in the MA in Economics program who earns the highest GPA during his/her first year of studies.

Data revolution is upon us. New, complex, information rich, very large datasets are made available almost on a daily basis on some events, items, segments or individual agents of the economy and society. An increasing number of such data take the form of panels, where these are tracked over time.
