QS ranks CEU #151-200 in Economics, 178th in Social Sciences & Management

CEU QS World University Rankings by SubjectCEU ranks #151-200 in Economics & Econometrics, and 178th in Social Sciences & Management in the 2020 QS World University Rankings by Subject, released March 3.

In Economics & Econometrics, CEU remains #151-200 and 2nd in Central and Eastern Europe. It is on par with Barcelona, EUI, Geneva, Georgia Tech, Glasgow, Hebrew University, Heidelberg, Notre Dame, Sapienza, St. Andews, Sun Yat-sen, UC Irvine, UCSB and UtrechtIn October 2019, CEU rose to #101-150 in Economics in ARWU ShanghaiRanking.

In the Social Sciences & Management faculty, CEU jumps into the top 200 at 178th, up from 206th in 2019. It is 113th in academic reputation, up from 121st. It is on par with Dartmouth, Lausanne, Sorbonne, TUM and York.

Elsewhere, CEU ranks 30th in Politics, 37th in Philosophy, #51-100 in History, Sociology, and Social Policy & Administration, and #151-200 in Law and Legal Studies. In the faculty of Arts and Humanities, it rises to 120th from 143rd. CEU also debuts in Psychology in the world top 300.
