Ibolya Schindele is senior lecturer at the Department of Economics (part-time) and associated researcher at the Financial System Analysis Directorate of the Central Bank of Hungary. Previously, she taught subjects in the fields of Finance and Economics at the University of Vienna, EDHEC Business School, Toulouse Business School, BI Norwegian Business School, and worked as senior researcher at the Central Bank of Hungary. She obtained a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of Amsterdam and an M.A. in Economics from the Central European University. Her academic research interests are in the fields of corporate finance, banking, and financial intermediation. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of International Economics, Review of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Economics Letters, and the Journal of Banking and Finance. She is Subject Editor of the Journal of Multinational Financial Management.
