Roman Stöllinger is economist at The Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) and lecturer at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and the Central European University (CEU). He also works as an expert for industrial development for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). In his research he focuses on international trade and global value chains, industrial policy and structural change, including the digital and ecological transformations. He is associate editor of Structural Change and Economic Dynamics and is strongly involved in the Research Centre International Economics (FIW). He holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and Business Studies from the University of Innsbruck and a PhD in Economics from the University of Vienna.
