CEU ranks #151-200 in Economics & Econometrics, and 180th in Social Sciences & Management in the 2021 QS World University Rankings by Subject, released March 3.
In Economics & Econometrics, CEU remains #151-200. It is on par with Arizona, Barcelona, EUI, Geneva, Glasgow, Heidelberg, Notre Dame, Oslo, St. Andrews, Sun Yat-Sen, Tel Aviv and Utrecht. In June 2020, CEU was ranked #101-150 in Economics in ARWU ShanghaiRanking.
In the Social Sciences & Management faculty, CEU ranks 180th. It is 109th in academic reputation, up from 113th. It is on par with Boston College, Dartmouth, Goethe, Lausanne and York.
Elsewhere, CEU moves 30th to 25th in Politics and 37th to 35th in Philosophy. It is #51-100 in History, Sociology, and Social Policy & Administration, and #101-150 in Law and Legal Studies. In the faculty of Arts and Humanities, it moves from 120th to 118th.
