Students, alumni and faculty from the Department of Economics and Business completed the UltraBalaton race for the 3rd time!

Ultra Balaton CEU Finishers

UltraBalaton, one of the longest and most popular ultra and relay running races in Hungary, was held on May 6-7. The course started and finished at Balatonfured, entirely circling the lake. Runners passed through the picturesque hills of the lake’s north shore and spectacular beaches in the south. Our relay team completed the 211 km course in 19 hours and 7 minutes.

 

The relay team runners included Ramzi Chariag, Imola Csoka, Balazs Kertesz, Balazs Krusper, Henrika Langen, and faculty members Timea L. Molnar, Miklos Koren, Laszlo Matyas and Robert Lieli.
